A credit history is positive or negative information about how a subject of a credit history fulfills their obligations under a contract, which is stored in a Credit History Bureau.
Simply put, a credit history is your financial reputation. It shows how you have handled loans, including how many loans you have taken, for what terms, under what conditions, and how timely you repaid them.
Why is a good credit history important?
Practice shows that a good credit history provides more opportunities:
• it becomes easier to obtain a loan from financial credit institutions;
• the likelihood of receiving better loan conditions increases, such as a lower interest rate, a more convenient term, and even access to unsecured loans;
• the level of trust from financial credit institutions toward you increases.
Tips for maintaining a good credit history:
• always repay loans on time;
• avoid even the shortest payment delays;
• consider your repayment capacity and avoid taking multiple loans at the same time;
• regularly check your credit history;
• if there is an error in the report, contact the Credit History Bureau.
How can you check your credit history?
According to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Credit History”, every citizen has the right to receive their credit history report free of charge once a year from the Credit History Bureau.
Conclusion:
A credit history is an important part of every person’s financial life. It can affect the ability to obtain loans for various purposes.
