Money Transfer Instruments
Money Transfer Instruments
Money transfer instruments are a set of methods, mechanisms, and technologies used to transfer funds from one individual or legal entity to another, as well as between bank accounts. In a modern economy, such instruments play an important role in ensuring financial stability, accelerating money circulation, and increasing the efficiency of settlements.
In the Republic of Tajikistan, money transfers are mainly carried out through the following instruments:
∙ mobile applications of financial credit institutions;
∙ internet banking;
∙ automated self-service terminals;
∙ ATMs;
∙ international money transfer systems such as Western Union, Contact, and Unistream;
∙ the international interbank system for financial messaging — SWIFT.
Importance of money transfer instruments
The use of modern money transfer instruments provides several advantages, including:
∙ fast and convenient money transfers;
∙ reduced transaction costs or, in some cases, no service fees;
∙ quick access to funds in emergency or urgent situations;
∙ reduced financial risks when conducting money transactions;
∙ ensuring transparency and the ability to monitor the movement of transferred funds;
∙ the ability to make transfers both within the country and abroad.
Do not forget: using informal or illegal methods for transferring money may lead to the loss of funds, violation of financial rights, and other negative consequences.
