Festival "Financial literacy" in Spitamen district

The Financial Literacy Festival was held on 14 February 2025 in the building of the Palace of Culture of Spitameni district with the participation of representatives of regional financial and credit institutions.
At the entrance to the Palace of Culture, the products of regional financial organisations were presented and the responsible persons provided detailed information on banking operations. The main event continued inside the building, where First Deputy Chairman of Spitamen district Muhammadnazar Jovid made a welcoming speech. He expressed gratitude to the representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan and financial-credit organisations for assistance in implementing the items of the ‘National Strategy of Financial Inclusion of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2022-2026’.
Deputy Head of the Regional Department Siraeva Z.R. noted that the National Bank of Tajikistan as an authorised body in the field of protection of the rights of consumers of financial services takes measures to ensure transparency of financial operations of credit institutions and create favourable conditions for consumers.
In addition, the event was addressed by Z.Sh. Mavlonov of the Regional Department, T.M. Tukhtaev, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Head of the Department of Finance and Credit of the Institute of Economics and Trade of the Tajik State Trade University in Khujand, and S.K. Juraev, Head of the branch of Alif Bank OJSC in Khujand.
During the event, the participants asked questions to the speakers, to which comprehensive answers were given. The speakers also prepared questions on the presented topics, and the participants who gave correct answers received memorable gifts.
It should be noted that the event was attended by more than 2,000 residents of Spitameni district, who improved their financial literacy.
